Berry Frosty Protein Shake Recipe

Whether you’re preparing for bariatric surgery or trying to stick to your doctor’s diet plan post surgery, getting the protein you need can get boring quickly. That’s why we’ve developed some delicious protein shake recipes to help you put some flavor in the mix.

Trying different, easy-to-make recipes like this are a great way to change things up while getting the critical supplementation you need post-WLS. Hopefully, by trying out many different recipes, you’ll even start to look forward to your next one!

  • ½ scoop Syntrax Nectar Crystal Sky Protein Powder (or any other flavor!)                   
  • ½ cup fat free plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup skim milk
  • 2-3 ice cubes
  • Add additional water if needed


Combine the skim milk, yogurt and protein powder mix in a blender.
Blend for 20 seconds, then add ice and blend for 30 seconds on high.

    I’m going on week 7 of my gastro sleeve surgery. Have lost 32 lbs. haven’t done much excerise. I did get a cordozone shot which helped. Then I get the flu n now u have strep n fluid on both ears. I have never been this sick n my life. I have a hard time getting my protein shakes n, but I think these recipes will help.
